An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist and Accounting Administrator to join the dynamic team at A & T Cabinet Makers' in Loganholme, Queensland. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative accounting support to the company's operations. Position is for a 30 hour week (full time) role for business hours 9am to 3pm, 5 days a week. Weekend work is not required.
What you'll be doing
1. Handling all incoming phone calls, emails and visitor enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
2. Managing the company's front-of-house reception area, including greeting clients and providing a warm welcome
3. Providing administrative and accounting support, such as data entry, invoicing, and general bookkeeping duties
4. Assisting with the preparation of monthly/quarterley/yearly financial reports and other accounting-related tasks
5. Maintaining and updating client records and databases
6. Ordering office supplies and managing stock levels
7. Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role, ideally within a customer-facing environment
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role is required
3. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and MYOB accounting software. MYOB accounting software experience is required.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
5. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
6. A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
7. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
8. 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience is required
9. A positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude
