Duties and Responsibilities:Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food suppliesMonitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationDiscussing food preparation issues with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staffDemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking proceduresPreparing and cooking foodExplaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsSelecting and training staff where requiredFreezing and preserving foods as necessary.Requirements:Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management A minimum of three (3) years' proven experience working as a Chef, with a strong emphasis on Indian cuisineExpertise in Indian cooking, including knowledge of regional dishes, spice profiles, and traditional preparation techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
