The Role
We are a WA based company and looking at expanding over to the east-coast.
The positions are DIDO to various mine sites in the local region and located in Mackay.
Completing shutdown duties and maintenance work on our range of conveyor cleaning equipment and tracking systems.
The ideal fit would be a mechanically minded candidate with experience servicing, troubleshooting, installing and commissioning conveyor belt equipment.
Nevertheless, we offer extensive training, and any traded person keen to grow and learn is welcome to apply.
The role is a challenging yet rewarding position where many new skills can be learnt and developed.
You will also have opportunities to help develop new innovative approaches to Conveyor Belt maintenance.

Skills and Experience
Suitable candidates have trade qualifications in boiler making, fitting, fabrication or extensive experience with conveyor belts.
Able to work in a team and autonomously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Develop and maintain excellent internal and external relationships
Flexible "can do" attitude with a professional approach to work
Strong commitment to quality workmanship

EWP- Elevated Work platform
Previous experience installing and fitting scrapers or similar on site into plant and machinery
Previous experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Mine site/shut down/FIFO/DIDO experience is a bonus
Manual Driver's License
QLD Coal Board medical is preferred
