Our centre is designed to be warmly and home, inspiring adventure in all children, families, and educators.We have developed an educational approach that encourages play-based learning in a variety of different activities. Our outdoor setting contains a great bike track, water splash sensory play areas, and a mud kitchen to inspire messy play and exploration. Journey Durack is celebrated for its exciting excursions that immerse children in the broader community creating meaningful connections, offering a chance to learn in a flexible and spontaneous setting.About The RoleThis is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector. As an Educator with Journey Early Learning, you will be supported by your Centre Leadership Team, as you learn the fundamental skills of being an inspired Educator within the Journey family.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all timesFacilitate learning experiences for your designated group of childrenAssisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferencesDesign and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environmentAbout YouYou are creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines.
