The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Corporate & Commercial team at our Ballarat or Geelong office. As a Paralegal in our department, you will be a vital part of our team, engaged in a diverse range of matters. This role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to:
* Draft and review legal documents across a broad range of matters, including sales and acquisition of business, commercial contracts, leasing, shareholder and partnership agreements, franchising and intellectual property (including trademarks and licence agreements).
* Conduct legal research and analysis and summarise findings for supervising operators.
* Liaise with clients and external stakeholders.
* Monitor deadlines, and timetables.
* Provide administrative support to ensure efficient matter progression.
* Participate in client meetings and events.

(a) Currently undertaking either a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws or having completed a Diploma or Degree in Legal Services/Paralegal Studies.
(b) Competency in legal research tools and technology commonly used in practice (e.g., Microsoft Office, legal management practice software).
(c) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with a collaborative team spirit.
(d) Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
