PJL supports the mining industry by providing asset hire, maintenance services, labour and project support, mechanical and engineering services along with the manufacture and sale of retail items including ground engaging tools.
About the Role
PJL Group is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Payable Assistant to support our Finance team.
Based in our Orange office, this role will be dedicated to Accounts Payable and will work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and sorting the AP inbox
* Processing and posting supplier invoices
* Assisting with end-of-month accounts payable processing
* Communicating with suppliers regarding invoice queries
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Supporting general AP administrative tasks as directed
Flexibility is essential, particularly around end-of-month processing periods.
About You
* Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance administration role
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Comfortable communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Reliable, trustworthy and professional
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience with M1 system (desirable, but not essential)
* Available to support end-of-month processing requirements
