The Opportunity

Collective Hospitality is seeking an enthusiastic Manager of Acquisitions & Hotel Development (Hospitality Experience) to join our Hotel Development Team.

You will engage and collaborate closely with external parties including: Hotel Owners, Developers, Operators, Consultants, Lenders, Builders, and Real estate agents.

You will work with internal team leaders of architects/designers, brand, and Project Services, Operations, Legal, and Finance colleagues.

The Role

Development and new-unit growth drive Collective Hospitality's growth and earnings.

You will be our primary contact with the external real estate community, responsible for the future development and growth of our hotel brands.

This position requires understanding the hotel development process, knowledge of hotel markets, and ability to develop relationships and convince owners and developers to choose Collective Hospitality products.

You will lead the management group through application, approval, negotiation, and execution of agreements, contracts, acquisitions, and other arrangements.


Key Responsibilities:

* Understanding local real estate and hotel markets.
* Analysis and evaluation of hotel project feasibility for potential growth opportunities.
* Travel extensively (75%) to engage with new and existing owners.
* Represent Collective Hospitality at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.


Qualifications

Experience Required:

* 5+ years of real estate experience, hotel feasibility, and financial analysis.
* Established relationships with owners, operators, consultants, management companies, lenders, builders, etc.
* Demonstrated success in meeting goals/quotas and driving business results.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor.
* Ability to multi-task and handle multiple relationships and deals.

Experience Preferred:

* Familiarity with local hotel markets.
* A working knowledge of hotel management and lease agreements.
* Ability to work across the organization as liaison between development and franchise groups.
