As a Chef you will be a key part of our Catering team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our reputation as market leaders in our sector. Your two key benchmarks are quality & safety. We are currently looking for a Chef to join our catering team on a full‑time permanent basis. If you love cooking food and want to work in a fast paced, supportive environment then we would love to hear from you. You will be responsible for the service and preparation of food items for our guests.
Your Details
* Permanent - Full Time, 38 hours per week position – enjoy the stability.
* Located at Ashwood Residential Care in Pendle Hill, close to train or plenty of onsite parking.
* No weekend work.

Your Contribution
Food preparation for residents which meet their needs (including dietary concerns);
* Demonstrate cookery methods to hospitality staff.
* Appropriate receipt, storage and stock control and stock station of catering supplies.
* Clean and maintain kitchen and hygiene.
* Ensure that services provided are in accordance with the Fresh Hope Communities Food Safety Program.
* Proactively model the Fresh Hope values in all interactions with your team, stakeholders, and external parties.
Qualifications
* Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
* Experience in cooking for people with special dietary needs within a commercial setting will be an advantage.
* You love to be busy and want to achieve something when you come to work.
* Understanding of Food Safety Standards.
* Have or are willing to get your National Criminal History Check.
