Norton Gold Fields, a renowned name in the gold mining industry, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the engineering and technical aspects of our ambitious mining initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of projects through meticulous planning, quality control, and stakeholder collaboration.

ABOUT THE ROLE

With a 12‐month contract, the Recruitment Officer works as a recruitment team member and supports the Recruitment Supervisor on all recruitment activities. This role is required to maintain confidentiality, privacy, and support for all internal and external stakeholders. The role may frequently interact with recruitment agencies, career fair organisations, recruitment sites and external recruiters.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
  • Tertiary education in the relevant fields
  • 2 years or above work experience in a similar position in the mining industry
  • Experience in blue‐collar employee recruitment (Essential)
  • Experience in white‐collar employee recruitment (Desirable)
  • Competent with the use of PRONTO and UKG systems (Desirable)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Work as the recruitment contact for the respective areas of business to carry out recruitment activities;
  • Support recruitment strategies and organise recruitment activities under the internal procedure and framework;
  • Assist the superintendent in developing recruitment strategies, specific recruitment campaigns and volume recruitment implementation plans;
  • Liaise and coordinates overseas employees' work and visitor visa applications to meet operational manpower requirement;
  • Establish and maintain recruitment related trackers, registrations and ensure accurate and up to date information;
  • Carry out recruitment activities according to manpower plan, internal recruitment procedure and ensure legal compliance of all recruitment activities;
  • Organise all recruitment activities including PD development, job ad drafting, shortlisting, CV reviews, interviews, reference check, and pre‐employment activities;
  • Liaise with HR admin and hiring department contacts to ensure the smooth onboarding of new starters;
  • Participate in recruitment procedure and policy development, internal templates and other documentation;
  • Maintain and update offer letter template and provide input for any revision and update initiatives;
  • Prepare recruitment update report regularly to internal and external clients;
  • Familiarise with HR policies and procedures and provide accurate advice as required;
  • Keep abreast with HR legalisation changes and updates and provide suggestions on continuous improvement and compliance;
  • Participate in other HR initiatives organised by the department and work in a team to provide other HR advisory services as required;
  • Provide sufficient support to HRIS system implementation, upgrade, and training;
  • Any other duties as required by the Recruitment Supervisor.
