This well-established organisation specialises in engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication for various industries, ranging from automotive to other high-tech industries. They design and manufacture components and tooling for various industries, utilising the latest technology. They have a modern workshop offering the latest in CNC technology.
They have a permanent full-time position available for a Team Leader / Supervisor in the press shop. The role requires a strong understanding of metal stamping or metal press work and may be suitable for a Toolmaker.
You will use an ERP system to coordinate your day and manage a team of 12 staff. You will need good time management and planning skills and will manage orders through the company’s production management system.
Responsibilities include overseeing a small team of 12, handling Job Cards, tracking job status and delivery, and conducting regular meetings with key manufacturing personnel. This is an excellent position in a team environment with a strong reputation.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Press shop experience
- Metal trade or engineering qualifications
- Production planning experience
- Understanding of mechanical drawings
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
