**About the Role**:
Curtin University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our flagship initiative, Respect at Curtin. This strategic program underpins our commitment to cultivating a culture of respect, equality, safety and inclusion—across our campuses, online environments, and broader university community.
Curtin is passionate about making a difference. The Respect at Curtin program of work is focussed on maintaining and enhancing a respectful culture at Curtin. This position leads and manages the development and implementation of the Respect at Curtin strategic initiative, which aims to maintain and enhance a culture of respect, equality, safety and inclusion, at our campuses, online spaces and communities.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
As the Program Manager, you will drive the strategic direction and operationalisation of the Respect at Curtin framework, ensuring it is embedded into all areas of university life. Your work will involve high-level planning, creative program design, effective stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based evaluation.
This role demands both sensitivity and expertise—balancing internal university priorities with evolving external regulatory and societal expectations. You'll work collaboratively with academic and professional service areas to embed a culture that is safe, inclusive, and respectful.
- Lead the implementation, review and ongoing evaluation of the Respect at Curtin framework and initiatives.
- Conceptualise and develop program strategies, ensuring alignment with Curtin's strategic goals.
- Work with a variety of stakeholders to support, coach and advise on areas of responsibilities within the framework.
- Expertly develop appropriate communications for a variety of audiences, this includes preparing reports and data insights for senior leaders to actively engaging with the university community to build awareness and educate on the framework.
- Compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice and industry standards is an integral part of this role.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and developments in the higher education and inclusion spaces.
- Partner and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to progress priority actions and initiatives.
**Who we are looking for**:
- Demonstrated high level planning, management, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to conceptualise, develop and review organisational strategies.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and influence others and to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external groups.
- Demonstrated high level verbal communication and negotiation skills and the ability to resolve stakeholder concerns, whilst balancing obligations and operational requirements.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to write clear concise, authoritative, and persuasive reports, proposals, and submission.
