Job Summary:
The National Recovery at Work Manager is responsible for shaping and leading a national recovery-at-work framework to support the physical and psychological wellbeing of our people.
This role exists to proactively reduce workplace injuries, ensure consistent and effective claims management practices, and drive exceptional return-to-work outcomes across all business units.
Through strong leadership and collaboration, the National Recovery at Work Manager promotes a culture of safety, supports compliance, and strengthens our commitment to a healthy and productive workforce.
Your Activities:
* Develop strategies on how to proactively manage workers compensation claims to reduce premiums.
* Manage and drive end-to-end injury, case management, and recovery-at-work activities across the company, ensuring timely, consistent, and effective support for injured employees.
* Lead national case planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and visibility of case progress and outcomes.
* Support the development and implementation of injury management strategies, return-to-work functions, policies, and guidelines in alignment with our Pacific Management System.
* Design, implement, and evaluate strategies and programs aimed at maximising safe and sustainable recovery-at-work outcomes.
* Monitor, review, and provide decision support for complex and high-value claims, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and optimal case outcomes.
* Proactively identify and elevate case issues, ensuring timely intervention and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve systems and processes that support effective injury management and return-to-work functions nationally.
* Lead and manage the Return-to-Work team, ensuring consistent performance, capability development, and delivery of high-quality services across all business units.
