Responsibilities
Provide a broad range of social work interventions within an acute mental health setting.
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Apply recovery-focused care and principles within an acute mental health setting.
Utilise computer skills as part of daily practice.
Selection Criteria
Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or equivalent as determined by the employer.
Understanding of Mental Health and Guardianship Acts and their applicability to this role.
Demonstrated ability to provide effective social work interventions in an acute setting.
High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of recovery-focused care and principles within an acute mental health setting.
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated computer literacy.
Current NSW Driver's Licence.
