Job Title: Compliance Support Specialist
About the Role:
This is a critical temporary assignment designed to provide essential support during a peak period of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual Processing & Case Management:
o Work through a backlog or surge of customer files, ensuring all CDD/KYC data is accurately captured in the internal compliance system.
o Manage the workflow of ongoing AML checks, ensuring compliance deadlines are met for new and existing customers.
o Maintain a clear and concise audit trail for all actions and decisions taken on each customer file.
* In-Depth Document Review:
o Perform meticulous review and verification of core customer documentation, including identification, corporate registration papers, and Source of Funds/Wealth evidence.
o Validate documents against internal policy requirements and external regulatory standards.
o Identify and elevate any high-risk findings, inconsistencies, or compliance exceptions to the senior compliance team immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Immediate Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit to the full 3-week assignment (standard business hours, Monday to Friday).
* Experience: Proven experience in a back-office administration, customer service, or operations role, ideally within a regulated financial or professional services environment.
* Meticulous Attention to Detail: A non-negotiable requirement. You must be highly detail-oriented and have experience handling sensitive and complex documentation.
* Compliance Awareness: An understanding of AML/CTF principles and the purpose of KYC/CDD checks is highly regarded.
