The culture is stable, loyal and collaborative, supported by regular social events, ongoing professional development and a genuine focus on internal relationships.The firm provides services across accounting, tax, SMSFs, financial planning and audit, with the majority of work centred on complex business services and private client advisory.The Opportunity This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Business Services & Tax Director to play a pivotal role within the practice.Working closely with the partner group, you will take responsibility for technical review, client advisory and people leadership, while supporting workflow management across a shared-team model.The role suits someone who enjoys working across a diverse and high-calibre client base, mentoring teams, and contributing to a stable yet ambitious firm with a long-term outlook.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted adviser to a portfolio oflarge private companies, high-net-worth individuals and complex private groups, including several clients within theATO Top 500 and Top 5,000Lead and review business services engagements across various industries such as law firms, construction, entertainment and senior executivesReview complex financial statements, income tax returns and structuring matters for high-quality private clientsSupport partners by managing workflow, resourcing and delivery across a shared-team modelProvide technical leadership across tax compliance, advisory and private group structuringMaintain and deepen long-term client relationships built on trust, integrity and continuityLead, mentor and develop managers and senior accountants, fostering capability and successionContribute to internal training, technical development and process improvement initiativesAbout YouExtensive experience in business services atSenior Manager or Associate Director levelCA or CPA qualifiedStrong tax technical capability with sound commercial judgementProven people leadership and mentoring experienceComfortable working across multiple partners and diverse client groupsDemonstrated commitment to long-term career developmentWhat's On OfferLeadership & Influence- A key role supporting partners and shaping the practiceCareer Longevity- Join a firm known for decades-long staff tenureHybrid Working- Up to 2 days WFHProfessional Development- Weekly internal tax training and ongoing learningHigh-Quality Work- Advisory, review and leadership focusSupportive Culture- Collegial, social and people-focused environmentReady to Take the Next Step?
