About the Role:
The Science Coordinator position presents a unique chance for an educator to transition into a leadership role while maintaining a strong impact in the classroom. This opportunity involves overseeing the development and implementation of an engaging Science curriculum, supporting colleagues in refining their teaching practices, and leading initiatives that foster curiosity, problem-solving, and achievement across the faculty.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver an effective Science curriculum
* Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to enhance their instructional practices
* Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to promote Science education and awareness
* Lead projects to increase curiosity, problem-solving, and academic achievement among faculty members
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching degree
* New South Wales Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
* New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
