The Opportunity
We are seeking safety and quality conscious Electricians to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full‐time basis. This is your opportunity to work with a safety‐focused company while gaining experience in a mining environment. We encourage candidates from across Orange, Bathurst, and surrounding areas, as well as those willing to relocate, to apply. This is a local role, primarily Monday‐Friday with excellent pay and consistent overtime.
Responsibilities
* Undertake industrial electrical and instrumentation installations in both surface and underground environments
* Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit and catenary
* Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting and communications equipment
* Install and terminate high‐voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables
* Ensure correct earthing and bonding of electrical systems across all installations
* Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation
* Participate in shutdowns and electrical compliance upgrades
Qualifications
* Must have an excellent attitude to safety
* Strong emphasis on maintaining long‐term client relationships
* Ability to work independently and fit into a great team
* Mining, industrial, instrumentation and hazardous area experience are highly regarded but not essential
* Trade certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
* Current NSW electrical licence
* High‐risk work licence (with WP class)
* Working at Heights (completed in the last 16 months)
* Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
* Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's licence
* White / Blue Construction card
