**The role**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will demonstrate general all-around administration and accounting ability in delivering accurate and timely accounting support across the branch.
This is a diverse position with building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally whilst working within workplace health and safety and operational requirements being a key part of the role.
**Requirements/Responsibilities**:
As the Accounts Officer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the General Manager across the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting.
- Bank reconciliation - reimbursements, bank statements, petty cash
- Maintaining Customer Account Records
- Supplier rebate administration
- Assistance with Reporting
- Monitor and collect outstanding funds.
- Accounts Receivable
- Process incoming funds
- Prepare invoices for customers.
- Payroll admin/processing
- General banking
- Goods receipting
- Administration-related tasks (mail, filing, general administration assistance)

**What you need to be successful in this role**:
- Have unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- 2+ years' experience working as an Administration Assistant or in Accounts
- AR and AP experience and some bookkeeping is ideal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word - Intermediate)
- Strong general administration skills
- Solid analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to review reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills
