As the IT Procurement Governance and Contracts Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of Administrators and Advisors, providing high-level advice and consultancy to key stakeholders on procurement frameworks, policies, and practices. You'll maintain a broad understanding of the business environment to develop procurement strategies and sourcing plans, ensuring effective governance and management of IT vendors and contracts. Your role will also involve leading complex sourcing activities, creating and negotiating contract material, and maintaining positive long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is available as a permanent opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you'll tick some of the following boxes too: Ideally tertiary qualified in a business-related discipline and/or Level 4 accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Australia (CIPSA). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail and ability to write for an Executive audience. Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and operate within tight deadlines. Experience in negotiating supplier contracts. Experience in analysing unstructured information & developing management reports. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated and applied knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks especially for IT procurement and contract management. Financial services/ superannuation experience.
