The UTS Faculty of Health is a broad and multi-disciplinary faculty that addresses health from conception to end of life.

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery on a part-time (0.8 FTE basis) to join the School of Nursing and Midwifery, where you will contribute to teaching, research, and engagement.
In this role, you will design, coordinate, teach and assess across a variety of clinical and theoretical midwifery subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while engaging with industry partners and consumers in subject design. You will produce high-quality research outcomes, including securing internal and external funding, publishing in leading journals, and managing small research projects.
The role also involves supervising Honours, Masters and Doctoral students and building strong connections with industry and the wider academic community.
About You
You will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and industry partners. With experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, you will demonstrate leadership in developing teams and fostering productive collaborations. You will also have the capability to supervise Honours, Masters and Higher Degree Research students, supporting their academic and professional success.
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following key selection criteria for this role:
* PhD in Midwifery or related discipline & registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Experience in teaching at tertiary level, including face-to-face, blended and fully online teaching
* Experience in the design and development of learning materials/programs
* Experience in research activities with evidence of a publications track record
* Demonstrated leadership capacity

Base Salary Range: $152,245 - $174,841 (Level C), plus 17% superannuation (pension).
The positions are part-time (0.8 FTE) and will be made on a continuing basis.
