HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading firm to find a driven Lawyer/ Associate/ Senior to join their Defendant Insurance team in Brisbane .
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer to work on, high-quality insurance matters with a focus on workers' compensation. You'll be joining a team known for its approachable leadership, professional growth opportunities, and collaborative working style.
Your Day Will Involve:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of workers' compensation matters.
* Advising clients on policy interpretation, liability, and quantum issues
* Drafting clear and concise legal correspondence, advices, and submissions
* Attending mediations and conferences, and supporting strategic negotiations
* Collaborating closely with a highly regarded Partner and the broader team.
* Building strong client relationships and developing your profile in the insurance sector
Who You'll Be Working With:
You'll work closely with a well-respected Partner and broader team of 8. The team is leading in the workers' compensation space and is known for its inclusive culture, and genuine investment in development. You'll receive direct mentoring, meaningful client exposure, and access to matters that will enhance your technical and strategic skills.
Who Will Fit This Opportunity?
* 1-6+ PAE in insurance, personal injury, or related litigation
* Willing to consider plaintiff experience
* Experience in workers' compensation or public liability claims
* Strong drafting and analytical abilities
* Excellent communication skills and client management experience
* A proactive, team-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
