Job Overview
The position of Motor Vehicle Technician is currently available at our state-of-the-art service operation. This role involves performing a variety of mechanical repairs, diagnostics and servicing tasks on multiple franchise passenger vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles including diagnostics and servicing tasks
* Utilisation of technical diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems
* Adherence to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines for maintenance and repair work
* Collaboration with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
* Diploma or certificate in automotive technology or equivalent qualification
* Trade qualifications in motor vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with multi-franchise motor vehicle systems and vehicle electronic system diagnostics
* Commitment to maintaining high levels of workplace health and safety and quality control
