About the Role:
There is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, who possesses exceptional leadership skills and has the ability to mentor and influence the team to support a collaborative and supportive workplace. You will have proven experience in being flexible and adaptable to effectively respond to changing service needs, priorities and environments.
Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy services, including comprehensive clinical assessments and individual or group‑based therapeutic interventions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to contribute to recovery‑oriented, person‑centred care that supports the functional, psychosocial, and occupational needs of our patients. This role will require you to supervise, coach and provide education to support the development of Level 1 and 2 Health Professional staff, students, Allied Health Assistants and other relevant team members. Completion of professional development and/ or training within the area of mental health is essential for this position.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

* Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
