* Ensure purchased parts and manufactured goods meet our company's quality standards for design, procurement, manufacture, and reliability.
* Develop and maintain quality requirements during product design and manufacturing.
* Meet department goals and implement Continuous Improvement activities using Six Sigma tools and practices.
* Analyze and resolve product and process problems with Six Sigma methodologies.
* Audit manufactured goods for conformance to engineering and manufacturing standards.
* Engage with contract manufacturers for product transfer, new product introduction, and change management.
* Report on quality trends and recommend improvements.
* Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on PCBA's, parts, and systems.
* Conduct supplier audits and participate in NPI meetings.
* Perform root cause and corrective action analysis for failures.
* Assist in supplier quality system audits and process audits at supplier sites; travel may be required.
* Collaborate with inspectors and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve drawings.
* Support other design, development, and quality tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 4 years' experience in Quality or equivalent.
* Experience in manufacturing, preferably in electronics or PCB design.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma, 8D methodologies, and tools.
* Familiarity with quality and LEAN processes, techniques, and tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab SPC.
* Motivated, independent, and collaborative with good communication skills.
* Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
* Additional training in ISO 9001 auditing, GD&T, and IPC standards is a plus.
* Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. and compliance with export control laws.
