Job Description - Vehicle Ordering Specialist - Temporary (MER0003LXY)

In this 6-month contract position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, this role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing vehicle ordering team, where you will be responsible for vehicle ordering and conducting analysis on related topics.

· Support the overall vehicle ordering process for Australia and New Zealand (Agent, Corporate, Rental, Company, Launch, and Pool vehicles) in assigned Product Groups.
· Maintain overall timelines and manage stakeholder expectations.
· Manage, maintain, and escalate the ordering inbox, Agent queries, and factory queries as required.
· Monitor and control pipeline vehicle inventory levels.
· Resolve production date differences and ordering shortages in Interactive Differences Report (IDR).
· Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding product topics.
· Prepare month-end reports for internal stakeholders and MBAG (Headquarters).
· Provide analysis and input into the MBC Vehicle Ordering Committee concerning ordering trends, restrictions, shortages/substitutions, and other related topics.
· Participate in departmental projects and enhancements (UAT) as required.
Qualifications:
· Detailed knowledge of Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific, its brand, products, and customer expectations.
· Highly developed analytical skills—ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly.
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
· Enthusiastic self-starter with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service to the dealer network and internal stakeholders.
· GO/SWT certification preferred but not essential.
· Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or information systems preferred but not essential.
