About the Role
The Community Manager at Latin Community Hub (LCH) is a volunteer role reporting directly to the Marketing Leader. This external-facing position involves regular engagement with a diverse multicultural, multi‑lingual audience across Queensland. The role's responsibilities include designing, managing, and publishing news items across various social media platforms. Excellent communication skills are essential for promoting to the right audience and driving engagement for face‑to‑face events and online workshops. The role also involves collaboration with the Public Relations Officer, Chief Editor, and other team members to ensure the success of LCH's mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Bilingual Proficiency : Incorporate bilingual elements (English & Spanish) when appropriate to address a diverse, multicultural customer base.
* Communication : Use approved social media channels to interact with potential and current members. Post at least two updates weekly (Instagram & Facebook) and three stories weekly (Instagram) based on LCH activities.
* Community Engagement : Promote online workshops and face‑to‑face events across all social media platforms. Help co‑promote partner‑organisation events as required.
* Data Management : Monitor publishing analytics to improve audience reach and engagement (e.g., post reach, story views, time of day, demographics, keywords).
