Locally, the franchise is run by a hands on Director who’s built a strong pipeline of work but is now ready to expand the team. With 5+ months of renovations already secured, he’s on the lookout for a capable, solutions focused Site Manager to help bring these projects to life, whilst also freeing him up to bring in more!
The business has the backing of a strong national support network, a remote PM based in Sydney, and an excellent reputation with clients and trades. It’s a tight knit setup with big potential for growth, and the opportunity to shape your role as things expand.
About the role / responsibilities:
This is a part time Site Manager role (20 hours per week, across set days), ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, project variety, and working with quality focused teams.
You won’t be on the tools, instead your role is to keep things running smoothly on site, with regular check ins with the Director (no micromanagement, just good communication).
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing and coordinating trades across residential renovation projects.
* Ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely and on schedule.
* Monitoring project progress and keeping the team up to date.
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and the remote Project Manager.
* Maintaining site documentation and assisting with compliance.
To succeed, you’ll need:
* A current QBCC Site Supervisor or Builders licence.
* Strong experience in residential building or renovations (ideally as a Site Manager or Foreman).
* Confidence managing trades and keeping sites on track.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, reliable attitude, someone who gets in and gets it done.
