An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Clinical Assistant to join our Cancer Care Team. The position will provide high level pharmaceutical services to the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service. Key Responsibilities include: * The Pharmacy Assistant Senior (Oncology) is part of the multidisciplinary Cancer Care team delivering high level clinical and operational pharmacy services in accordance with contemporary standards to Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Oncology patients, staff, and clients of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals * This position is a key support role to the Oncology Pharmacy Team (5.6 FTE) in managing the Oncology services at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). * Provide an efficient pharmaceutical service with high level support to Pharmacists on the clinical units, preparing inpatient medication orders, utilisation of enterprise liaison medication system (eLMs) to prepare admission histories and discharge medication records and entering allergy documentation across relevant platforms within scope of practice. * Work autonomously on the clinical units entering and updating clinical information under the supervision of a pharmacist. Remuneration value up to $7,734.42 p.m., comprising salary between $2916.00 - $3118.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (Fixed Term, Temporary, Full-time position available for 12 months).
