Perioperative Registered Nurse – Scrub/Scout – Part‑time
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse scrub/ scout to join our clinical team on a part‑time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday. There are no weekends, no on‑call and no public holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care.
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain communication with the surgical team as a key focus.
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications.
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery.
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift.

About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience as a scrub/ scout in a perioperative setting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar.
- Experience in the following specialties desirable: ophthalmology, endoscopy, plastics, skin, vascular and general surgery.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
