Job Overview:

As a technical professional, this role involves providing expert support to end-users on various software and hardware infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, installing and maintaining computer hardware and software applications, and implementing cyber security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users on various software and hardware infrastructure.
* Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, software applications, and operating systems.
* Cyber Security: Implement and maintain cyber security policies across various IT systems.
* User Administration: Administer user accounts and access permissions in various IT systems, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Procurement: Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify IT equipment and software requirements, and assist with the procurement process by researching, evaluating, and recommending suitable products or services.
* Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, and track asset allocation through auditing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems.
* Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with end-users and provide clear instructions and technical guidance.
* Attention to Detail: Attention to detail when troubleshooting technical issues and documenting support activities accurately, ensuring that all problems are fully resolved and preventing potential errors or omissions.
* Confidentiality: Absolute confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to data privacy and protection.
* Teamwork: Ability to build a strong rapport across all levels of the business and work well autonomously or in a team-based environment.
* Travel: A valid driver's license as travel to operational sites may be required for this role.
