This is a unique opportunity to work on the most advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate in the world.
The successful candidate will undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production supervision and/or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
The role requires attending and completing relevant on-the-job training as required, properly maintaining materials, tools and equipment, striving to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area, and adhering to BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Fabrication experience with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time-keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
