About the Opportunity
Armidale Community Health Service is recruiting a new Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to oversee service delivery within the Aged Care sector across Armidale, Walcha and Guyra. The role leads a multidisciplinary team that includes Community Nurses, Wound Care Nurses, and the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) team, ensuring high‐quality, person‐centred care across the region.
You will support staff, coordinate care delivery, and strengthen service integration to achieve positive community outcomes. The position is supported by a Health Service Manager and offers guidance from an Aged Care Clinical Nurse Consultant.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support Community Nursing, Wound Care, and TACP teams.
* Coordinate care across Armidale, Walcha, and Guyra.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations within the community health setting.
* Promote a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care.
* Maintain high standards of patient‐centred service delivery.

* Experience working in a community health setting.
* Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Experience or readiness for a management role.
