The Role
As a School Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our school and will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. The successful applicant will ideally have a friendly, positive, caring attitude to interact with staff, parents, visitors, and the wider community. Suitable applicants will ideally possess a well-developed interpersonal acumen, be resilient, trustworthy and demonstrate high levels of self-awareness. They will use these skills to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for students, staff and families.
The successful applicant should possess the ability to prioritise tasks and assist others as needed. You will ideally model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the Administration team, school support staff, teaching staff and our wider school community. The successful applicant will ideally have a focus on teamwork, self-motivation, initiative and model excellence in customer and administrative service delivery. You will ideally be very well organised and be able to deliver outcomes, while working to deadlines, in a fast-paced secondary school environment. A high degree of attention to detail is important to be successful in this role, and experience in SIS, Compass, RM Finance, Asset Manager, RM Billing and Administration Manager (or similar platforms) is highly desirable.

* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
