Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of overnight services, including auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Audit and Reconcile Daily Financial Transactions: Complete thorough audits of all daily revenue postings, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of reporting.
* Support Front Office Team and Other Departments: Provide support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
* Ensure Reservation Details Are Accurate: Ensure that reservation details for in-house guests are recorded correctly, including room rates, dates of stay, and authority to charge.
* Collate Paperwork for Departures: Collate paperwork for departures, including credit card and company charges to be forwarded to the accounts department.
* E nsure Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's overnight operation.
* Prepare and Distribute Reports: Prepare and distribute relevant reports, maintaining hotel weekly and monthly statistics.
* Process Management Accounts: Process all management accounts as required.

Skills and Experience Required
* Previous Experience Using Opera or Similar PMS: We are looking for someone with previous experience using Opera or similar Property Management Systems (PMS).
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues and provide exceptional guest services.
* Time Management and Organizational Skills: You will need to be able to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
* Strong Financial and Analytical Skills: You will need to have strong financial and analytical skills, with a high level of computer literacy.
* Security and Emergency Procedures: You will need to have a good knowledge of security and emergency procedures and be able to assist in managing these if required.
