What this job involves:
In this role, you will serve as the primary operational lead on the ground for the Ballarat office, while also providing remote management oversight for other offive locations. You will lead a local team of one direct report to ensure seamless workplace delivery.
You will be responsible for implementing operational and workplace experience processes—such as front-of-house services and maintenance—ensuring high-quality on-site support across locations. You will manage these operations, while maintaining requisite security compliance, ensuring a seamless and consistent service standard.
Additionally, you will bridge regional operations by sourcing local vendors and building stakeholder relationships, while working within established Australian, New Zealand, and Global structures and processes.
What you will bring:
You will be a highly experienced professional responsible for delivering exceptional facilities management, proactively monitoring and improving all portfolio operational activities.
You'll be passionate about ensuring state-of-the-art site operations and effective in sourcing and managing high-performing vendors to support the operational vision.
A keen eye for detail, the ability to think outside of the box, and exceptional stakeholder management skills will be essential for your success.
What we are looking for:
Current NV2 security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance
Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably in secured government or defence environments
University degree or professional qualification in facilities management, hospitality, or business administration.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities management or service-based industry, including contract and budget management.
Goal-oriented with a passion for operational excellence and strong vendor management.
Confident, clear, and concise communicator with diverse groups.
Self-motivated, confident, and energetic.
Ability to work in matrix reporting environments and prioritise activities.
Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to change.
Strongly goal-oriented and a team player.
