Key Responsibilities Providing pragmatic and business-focused solutions to legal issues Advising the Executive Leadership Team, senior system and school leadership and Board on legal and privacy matters Drafting and reviewing contracts as well as providing contract-specific and general corporate and commercial advice Supporting Principals and other leaders in legal issues arising from operation matters, including compliance with court orders Providing legal input on strategic, governance and administrative matters and sourcing and managing relationships with external providers where external expertise is required Ideal Candidate Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand 3-6 years PAE with a reputable firm and/or in house Experience in general commercial law is essential, privacy law experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work confidently with people at all levels within the business Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines If you are interested in applying for this role, please send your CV to Olivia Courtney, by emailing oliviacourtney@taylorroot.com.au or calling 0292369000.
