Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Must Have
* Complete understanding of SAP Eco System and functional role of system in landscape
* Size, plan, prepare, and install SAP applications/Databases as per Design requirements.
* Perform upgrades and migration of SAP applications (Support packs, HANA Migration, S/4 conversion, etc)
* Perform System copy from production to Test systems (Oracle, HANA, other DBs)
* SAP Database Management (Oracle, HANA)
* PI BASIS administration
* Troubleshooting and resolving SAP application and database integrity and performance issues
Good to Have
* SOLMAN (SMSY, MOPZ, EWA, BPM)
* Configure and troubleshoot CTS+ for non-ABAP systems
* SAP JAVA application monitoring and troubleshooting.
* System restarts and troubleshoot start-up issues.
* Perform Daily system health checks and proactively address any potential issues.
* Provide SAP support and administration such as Incident management, Service requests, Problem management, change management, Transport Management.
* Provide SAP Basis support and coordinate Basis requirements for projects with other infrastructure teams
* Manage backups, HA, and disaster recovery.
* Manage environment variation within agreed tolerances.
* Manage all technical responsibilities related to upgrades, support packs, and OSS note applications.
* Monitoring and troubleshooting of SAP integration, BW Basis, RFCs, Gateway, etc
* Performance Tuning using appropriate monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
* SAP Security activities like configure SSL for client server communication, encrypt database, Backup/restore of encryption keys
* Coordination with SAP, infrastructure team to identify and troubleshoot and fix infrastructure issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality deliverables as per the project plan and schedule and standards.
* Providing daily/weekly status updates and attending project stand-ups
* Preparing quality documents – HLD, LLD, Admin documents as per project requirements and standards.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, self-driven, able to perform tasks with little to no guidance.
