The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll be involved from concept to completion, designing and developing electrical systems that power tomorrow's infrastructure — with a focus on data centers, defence facilities, and high-reliability environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design solutions across power, lighting, and communications systems
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to deliver integrated design and construction outcomes
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications
- Participate in site inspections and design reviews
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design within the construction or building services sector
- Experience working on large-scale or technically complex projects (data centers, defence, hospitals, etc.)
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or electrical calculation tools
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
