 
        
        Toolmaker/Fitter Role Overview
This is a trades qualified position in the field of toolmaking, where you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of production machinery within a manufacturing facility.
Main Responsibilities:
 * The Toolmaker/Fitter will oversee the thorough upkeep and maintenance of all production machinery across the facility.
 * They will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure potential risks to plant and equipment are identified and actioned.
 * Key tasks include providing valuable feedback regarding plant improvements, preventative maintenance, and potential efficiency gains, while maintaining effective time management around the weekly production schedule.
 * The successful candidate will also ensure that all safety issues are given high priority and addressed promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications:
 * A trade certified Toolmaker certificate is required.
 * Applicants should have strong experience in maintenance/reliability within plastics, pharmaceutical, FMCG or other highly regulated industries.
 * Proven experience in maintenance, fabrication, and troubleshooting within a high-pressure environment is essential.
 * Must have experience with Injection Moulding machines.
 * Familiarity with Computer Maintenance Management systems (MEX) or similar is desirable.
 * An Electrical D-license is considered advantageous.
 * The ideal candidate must be able to work independently.
 * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
