The Project:
The West Ang Machine Replacement D project involves replacing key machinery at Rio Tinto's West Angelas mine, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of essential equipment to support ongoing operations.

About the Role:
1. Manage commercial aspects of high-value, high-risk procurement and contract packages from pre-award through to post-award administration.
2. Lead complex negotiations, ensure contractual compliance, and support project delivery.
3. Prepare bidders' lists, pre-qualify suppliers, and issue bid packages for critical procurement scopes.
4. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
5. Draft and execute contracts and purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
6. Maintain contract status reports, risk registers, and other key control documents.
7. Conduct and document pre- and post-award meetings with clients, internal teams, and contractors.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Supply Chain personnel.
9. Manage and assess complex payment claims in line with the Construction Contracts (Security of Payments) Act 2004 (NT).
10. Administer contract changes and lead resolution of contractual disputes.
11. Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
