This is an outstanding opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, privately owned enterprise in the logistics sector. The business has built a strong reputation for reliability, operational excellence and long-term customer partnerships across Australia.
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the financial management and performance of a key business unit. This is a hands-on and varied position with exposure across finance, operations and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain an understanding of major customer contracts and management agreements.
* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including transaction reviews, reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
* Deliver weekly and monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
* Conduct stock analysis and support operational teams with project costing.
* Manage customer invoicing and reconciliations.
About You
* CPA/CA qualification preferred.
* Experience in an inventory related business such as manufacturing, logistics, equipment or mining sectors is highly desirable.
* Strong financial accounting concept knowledge.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for process improvement (business open to implementing Power BI).
* Confident communication skills to build rapport and deliver insightful analysis across operational teams.
* Advanced ERP and MS Excel skills.
