Based at our Head Office in Luscombe, you'll work closely with our Design & Estimating, Manufacturing, Permanent Modular Construction and Rentals teams, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of modular construction. What You Will Do
As the
Designer / Estimator
, you will develop architectural concepts, prepare accurate drawings, and produce detailed building estimates for modular packages.
Your responsibilities include:
* Producing accurate architectural drawings aligned with client requirements.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure engineering, manufacturing and project requirements are captured within designs.
* Liaising with consultants to confirm compliance with NCC and all relevant standards.
* Maintaining and updating BIM (Revit) project components.
* Requesting and reviewing quotations from contractors and suppliers.
* Preparing detailed estimates using Databuild, including non-standard inclusions.
* Following established processes, systems and documentation standards.
What You Will Bring
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Building Design (or related discipline).
* Drafting and estimating experience within building or modular construction.
* Strong understanding of the Australian Building Code and applicable Standards.
* Proficiency in Revit and confidence working within BIM environments.
* High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in drawings and cost estimates.
* Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Highly regarded experience:
* Estimating using Databuild or similar software.
* Exposure to varied building types and classes.
* Understanding of tender and contract documentation.
