About The Role
This role involves delivering primary electrical designs for turnkey high-voltage substation projects for network service providers. Experience in high-voltage design at 132kV and above is essential, and prior involvement in utility projects within VIC, particularly with TNSP's.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and documentation for substation primary systems
* Earthing system design, documentation, and studies
* Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and specifications
* Provide technical support, analysis, and report preparation
* Support commissioning of high-voltage systems
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Chartered or Professional Engineer status is preferred
* Strong background in HV substation design, layouts, and related civil, structural, and primary electrical elements
* Demonstrated experience on large-scale substation projects
* Proficiency with CAD software
* Familiarity with HV substation construction standards and best practices
* Knowledge of ISO9001, QA processes, and relevant Australian standards
