**About the Department**
Our large NSW State Government client is responsible for disaster recovery whilst building community resilience for future disasters. This includes coordinating emergency management policy and service delivery with a focus on social, economic, infrastructure and natural environment outcomes. They lead the whole Government approach to disaster recovery and resilience, ensuring the people of NSW are cared for, acknowledged and empowered so that they are better prepared on the journey of recovery from any crisis or disaster event.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Relationships Manager to join the team for an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working in the local Coordination & Service Delivery Business unit you will be required to Foster and leverage strategic relationships with a network of stakeholders and delivery partners, primarily with community housing providers to enhance disaster preparedness and confidence in recovery, especially in relation to critical infrastructure, industry, business, and essential community services.

Your duties will include, however, will not be limited to the following;
- Act as the contact for key partners and stakeholders relating to the provision of critical infrastructure, industry, business and essential goods and services that enhance NSW's ability to plan, prepare for, respond to and recover from crisis events
- Ensuring compliance with best practice standards, relevant public sector policies and statutory requirements
- Partner and engage with key stakeholder entities to leverage expertise
- Monitor relevant partnership agreements to ensure services delivered or provided represent value for money and ensure appropriate management
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting, and analysis identified through assurance and monitoring processes
- Identify governance, emerging issues and risks and proactively provide recommendations to influence decision making
- Lead and coach staff to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and support to achieve agency objectives

**About You**
To secure this great assignment you will have the following
- Tertiary qualifications in business management or communications and/or relevant equivalent
- Previous experience in Community Housing is highly regarded
- Previous experience in leading strategic stakeholder engagement
- Valid Driver's licence and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events
- NSW State Government Sector experience desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
