Surface Conveyor Coordinator Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising safe conveyor operations and maintenance activities, a certificate of proficiency in a mechanical trade, and proven leadership skills.
As a Surface Conveyor Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating daily inspections, reporting, and housekeeping of conveyor systems
* Monitoring belt performance, tonnage throughput, and downtime trends to recommend improvements
* Scheduling and overseeing conveyor belt maintenance, repairs, and shutdown works
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with external contractors and supervise as required for belt audits, splicing, pulley changes, and component replacements.
Requirements:
* Experience in supervision of safe conveyor operations and maintenance activities
* Certificate of proficiency in a mechanical trade
* Proven leadership skills
* Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act and regulations
* High level of computer literacy
* Knowledge of Pulse Maintenance System
