Accountabilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive program communication strategies to support eye health program goals.
* Collaborate with program staff and advisors to generate evidence and gather impactful stories.
* Align all communication activities with the organization's brand and mission.
* Support advocacy initiatives by crafting persuasive narratives for campaigns.
* Produce and disseminate communication materials such as reports and social media content.
* Provide communication capacity‐building support to program teams and partners.
* Document communication results to enhance future initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with donor branding and visibility guidelines.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in program communication within the health or development sector.
* Master's degree in communication, Journalism, Public Health, or a related field.
* Experience in international development and customer‐facing roles.
* Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media management.
* Solid understanding of public health issues and community‐based programming.
* Strong storytelling and content creation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
