Senior Civil Structural Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality designs for civil and structural components of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead the review and due diligence process for civil and structural components of renewable energy projects, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design and review of high voltage substations, transmission line towers and structures. A tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, acceptable for admission as a professional engineer to Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional body, is also essential.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of complex engineering projects. The successful candidate will be based in either Hobart or Melbourne office, with flexible work arrangements available. Regular local, national and international travel may be required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, acceptable for admission as a professional engineer to Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional body.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in civil/structural engineering, including design and review of high voltage substations, due diligence/risk assessment of civil and structural components of renewable energy projects, and civil design and review of transmission line towers and structures.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
