About the role
WA Limestone is seeking experienced loader operators to operate CAT 972, CAT 966 & CAT 980 Loaders in our Blue Metal quarry in the Byford area. Applicants must be experienced in this practice and will be required to go straight into this role.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
* Recent experience in operating CAT 966/CAT 972/CAT 980 (H/M) loaders.
* Ability to load trucks with correct weights – including road‐trains & semi‐trailers.
* You must be able to load semi‐trailers and road‐train combinations.
* Proficiency with Load Rite/Scales system is essential.
* Experience in feeding crushers and screens.
* Recent experience operating other machinery will be highly regarded.
Other requirements
* Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment.
* Will work unsupervised in a team environment.
* MUST pass full medical check.
* Competent and qualified to operate CAT Loaders: CAT 980/966 Loaders.
* Hold a valid WA Drivers Licence.
* MUST have relevant Australian recognised tickets.
* A "Can Do" attitude to Working Safely.
* Ability to align to WA Limestone company values.
* All successful applicants will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Pre‐employment Medical prior to offer of employment.
