Our Atherton-based team is looking for a knowledgeable passionate individual to join our Tourism Heritage Culture team as a Regional Arts Officer on a permanent part-time basis.
The Regional Arts Officer leads and collaborates across Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) and community to deliver outcomes supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
The officer manages RADF funding applications and co-designs workshops and initiatives that foster local arts and culture development.
This includes developing workshop concepts and partnering with established and emerging artists to deliver creative opportunities across the region.
As the focus of RADF funding may evolve, the officer contributes ideas and recommendations on how funds can be effectively invested to achieve TRC's cultural objectives and align with Arts Queensland priorities.
The role works closely with the Galleries Officer and maintains strong external relationships with Arts Queensland and the regional arts community.
In addition, the officer provides guidance and support to colleagues on the care, repair, and maintenance of public art assets across TRC.
