We are looking for a Business Development Representative who will strategize with our Channel Sales Manager and find new opportunities in the market.
Job Description:
* This role involves prospecting new partners, finding new lead sources, and continually learning new skills to prepare for senior sales roles.
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning how to get in touch with accounts and conduct outreach in a modern sales methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in a team environment with Channel partner Managers, Account Executives, and technical engineers.
* Utilize cutting-edge front-line sales & prospecting tools to creatively plan and connect with prospective customers.
* Prospect: Identify and prioritize accounts that are most likely to generate revenue based on your territory and teaming with local Channel partner managers.
* Engage: Build relationships and generate awareness with key decision makers.
* Sell: Discover prospective customer pain points and be prepared to tell the story of why this opportunity is a game-changer.
* Qualify: Gather information needed to qualify the prospects and document the information into a winning sales plan.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of sales or service experience.
* Confident communication skills, comfortable speaking with managers, executives, and prospects via phone, email, and multi-channel.
* A measurable track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment.
* Experience with the mid-market/enterprise space.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior sales training and experience with CRM systems is preferred.
